The last phases of the production process involve the assembly of the semi-finished products moulded from the sheet metal, i.e. a welding process achieved by joining several components of deep-drawn sheet metal and/or commercialised elements (pins, nuts, screws, bushings, etc.).
There are several, increasingly innovative types of welding and LASIM which mainly use highly automated and productive robotic systems to carry out spot welds, called Spot Welding, or continuous wire, with CO2. Thanks to the use of advanced techniques also for Quality Control “in process”, our workstations produce up to 110,000 pieces per day on 18 robotised workstations of Spot Welding and CO2 welding.
Lasim, starting in 2018, extended its technical expertise to the welding of aluminium components, creating a new industrial building of 3500 square meters dedicated exclusively to the processing of this alloy, increasingly used in the automotive industry for its characteristics of strength and lightness.
