Sheet metal punching is one of the first operational phases that take place within the LASIM plants. In this phase specially designed and constructed moulds are used to outline the shapes of the sheet metal sections or complex cutting lines known as dividers. This ensures that individual customer projects established in advance can be undertaken with the required level of precision.
We cut an average of 50,000 sections per day which then continue to the next step in the production process, such as stamping or laser welding, to produce Tailor Welded Blanks.
